Allegheny County athlete bowls a turkey

This is Sammy, a Special Olympics athlete from Allegheny County. Sammy is an avid bowler and has long been in pursuit of the elusive turkey (bowling three strikes in a row). Every time Sammy has rolled two strikes in a row over the past few years his father, John, would record Sammy’s next attempt. Each time, the pins just didn’t fall the right way.

Well, we imagine you can already guess what happened this time… Watch the video (and turn up the volume!) for a much-needed moment of pure joy. ❤️

(*Please note that this video, courtesy of John, was recorded a few weeks ago and Sammy and his famiy are absolutely adhering to all social distancing and health & wellness guidelines!)
