Three PA Schools finish in Top 25 at #SOCollegeChampWeek

For the first time ever, 41 colleges and universities, with nearly 1,300 Special Olympics athletes and Unified Partners across the United States competed in the Special Olympics Virtual College Championship Week presented by ESPN!

Here in Pennsylvania, we had SEVEN universities participate in the inaugural Special Olympics Virtual College Championship Week presented by ESPN: DeSales University, Thomas Jefferson University, Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, Penn State University, Saint Francis University, Villanova University, and Wilkes University!

The teams competed across a series of 15 challenges that required team members to connect with each other and spread a message of inclusion through social media.
We’re so proud of all of all the participating schools and by the end of the week, three universities (Penn State, DeSales and Jefferson) won their rivalry match-up, and Jefferson won the NCAA Division II title! Additionally, St. Francis (19), Penn State (20) and DeSales (22) all finished in the top 25 nationally! 🎉
